Brutalism, in a ring
Brutalist architecture never hid what a building was made of - concrete stayed concrete, and the marks of the formwork stayed visible. Brutalist jewellery does the same with metal. It keeps the tool marks, the porosity and the asymmetry that a commercial finishing line would sand away. That is this collection: 55 rings in .925 sterling silver, each hand carved and finished using artisan techniques rather than modelled on a screen.
What you are buying at 286–958 EUR
Solid .925 sterling silver. Prices run from 286 to 958 EUR and the difference is mass and stones, not branding. On most designs the surface is oxidised for texture enhancement - the dark sits in the recesses, the high points stay bright. A few are deliberately left clean; the product page says which.
Forms in this collection
Flat-faced signet rings are the largest group. Beyond them: eroded and fractured bands (DECAY, EROSION, CRAKK, SCALE), molten and folded forms (MALTD, MAGM), vein and stamp textures (VEINER, VEIN-STAMP), and geometric slabs (SUBSTRUCTURE, CEMENTAR, FREGMENTER). Stone-set pieces also appear in gemstones; the same language in solid gold sits in gold.
